THE EAGLE Janie Dibbern, Editor Joyce Gall,Assistant Editor Wood River Rural High School Wood River, Nebraska 1 One Day At A Time The Days are changing; and so are we It seems just like yesterday that we were seventh graders, getting lost in the halls which was making us later. Eighth passed us like a day, we were one year ahead memories of last year fading away. Then we were Freshmen, mighty and tough getting initiated just wasn't our stuff! As sophomores we joined Senior High, superior to all the Junior Highs, but still younger than the older guys! Our Junior days were spent thinking of Prom, the night came so quickly— and then it was gone. 1 Here we are .... the first day of our last year We thought it would be no problem. Remember the Seniors of '76? Seemed like they had it so easy .... So we planned to take it ONE DAY AT A TIME. Our classes would all come easy or so we thought. Poli Sci— now that's another story, those tests are just ah poohey' Often there was geting smacked by a favorite teacher, after pushing them a little too far. Or hauling Freshmen out and going snipe hunting, leaving them in the cold and us in hot water. 3 Still living One Day at a Time ........... getting your nose caught in the egg beater. having a manicure in school, looking down on your elders, playing in sudsy water, giggling over magazines, posing for the camera. •o 7th Grade Adds To The W.R.R.
