Some of us will go on to further our education, others will enter the world of work at once. We are leaving as young adults during an era of much social, economic and political unrest. Our education will enable us to embark on this new adventure with an open mind and a clear head, as well as with the assurance that we have received the very best education possible. These problems, political, economic, and social, fall upon our shoulders. It is the task of young Americans to find their solutions. Realizing that an educated and tolerant world is the basis for a peaceful and prosperous world, we Wish to express our sincere appreciation to our faculty for the interest and concern they have displayed toward us. To our parents we extend our heart-felt gratitude for the patient understanding and guidance which have made our seemingly-large prob- lems small. And last but not least, we wish to thank each other for the many joys and friendships we have known through our extra-curricular activities and our social contacts -friendships that we shall recall and relive again and again through these pages of our Dial.
