Remember When? ? We entered this Big School as little Greenhorns. Marie and Dot passed out Feenamint in place of Chiclets when they were hard to get. Barbara Gilbert had a fist Hght with Bob Leipold in Mr. Scheibels English class. We went on strike in Miss Briody's English class. We were initiated into The Footlightsn by dressing up in baby clothes. Ioyce L. and Marie had a Hght over Roger at the Iunior Iinx and Seven Gremlins' Christmas party. At the Latin Club trip to the museum Iack Ryff was always lost. Miss Mann became Mrs. Newman. The Moonachie students invaded this Glorious School. We had our freshman Valentine dance and it was such a success. We had that eventful trip to Estling Lake. A stench bomb was thrown in Bickert's cellar. Pat had her Glamor Party and Charlie Hillenbrand fell through the window. Muriel Stevens dropped a worm down Charlie Cox's back in Mr. Marotta's biology class. We all walked around with our imaginary Harveys after Mrs. Reed took us to see Harvey. The stage crew gave their interpretation of Iulius Caesar. Ioyce Leigh had her slumber party. Gil walked out on the stage with a playbook in his hand, and Gus scared little kids in our Iunior Play. Bob Robinson came to W-R with his new idea of taking out two girls at one time. We beat Heights I4-I3 on Thanksgiving to become the B.C.S.L. and State Champions. We square danced on our junior class night. Lita found a frog in her lap in Mr. Stoesser's English class. Iack Bruckman, Poochie,'7 made his fire extinguisher in chemistry. Charlie Cox broke the broad jump record. i We had our Iunior Prom at the Meadowbrook and we danced to the music of Iohnny Long's Orchestra. Ioe Helma gave Miss Caldwell an apple. Betty Lou and Lucille were locked in Room One. The lollypop tree was raided in the kindergarten. Lita had a party after Peg O' My Heartf' We beat Heights 54-6 on Thanksgiving and we were again the B.C.S.L. State Champs. Ginger Milne was the star of our Senior Play. Ioan Ricker wore her Russian hat in gym class and Ioyce S. took an umbrella into the shower. The members of the public speaking class were Easter Bunnies. Doug Milne sang in A Date with Iudyf' I8
