Track season ends 5-5 with win at Whiteland Don Williams broke the school record for Pole Vault at 13 feet and 3 inches. Coach Walt Stalhutls squad finished first in the Whiteland Invitational. The 1969 team compiled a record of 5 wins, 5 losses and placed second in the meet with Shortridge and Cathedral. Losing the first two meets to Attucks and Southport, the Cindermen rebounded to defeat their next five opponents Sce- cina, Beech Grove, Howe, Marshall and Northwest. Awards went to Co-captains Bob Frier- son and James Holsey, Best Mental Atti- tude, William Lawrence, Most Improved Don Williams, Outstanding Runner, James Holsey, Outstanding Field Event, Joe Averitte.
