Veterans Day Parade major event for band was first formed. fast? E 1 . Metcalf, B. Eiler Working hard to earn money for new uniforms was only one part of the many activities which were accomplished this for the Band. The new Drum Majorette, Debbie Spacke along with the other offi- cers helped the band make a good presen- tation at school functions and Veterans Day Parade. Pep band played for the pep sessions and ball games. Mixed Ensemble is ten years old. Mem- bers were required to furnish outfits. Girls purchased material and made navy-blue jumpers and light blue blouses. Whilethe boys purchased grey pin stripped pants and blue shirts and ties. Many hours were spent in preparing for Christmas and social events by the Senior Choir. Fund raising for scholarships and other necessities of the music depart- ment was made easier by selling candy bars during school. Annual programs in- cluded the Principal's Luncheon, Fall Fes- tival, and Spring Concert were given by the members of the choir. Accomplished musicians are rewarded for the time and effort they put into their music groups by receiving an invitation to join Tri-M. 41
