Marching Woodchucks enter the field at Homecoming. New half-time shows feature Band Led by co-drum majors Frank Duncan and Roger Herring, VVood's Marching band made a good showing in both the Veteranis Day and Christmas Parades, as well as performing at half- time performances during football season, and the new half-time shows in our new gym. Under the direction of Mr. Brittian, the regional champions began their season early with the Foot- ball Iamboree in September. The band went on AEP' to enter ensemble contests at Indiana Central in early spring. More than sixteen girls serve as drill team mem- bers, Hewettes, and Majorettes, and perforrnp at half time also. The drill team, newly formed this year, was featured at half-time shows during bas- ketball season. Majorettes and Hewettes march with the band during parades and performances. Christmas also marked a time for Wood's singers to display their talents, by presenting their annual vocal music program, to the entire student body.
