A N E M O N E Nineteen Forty Sophomore Class History lx Sctpember 2 1938 fortx three boys and girls from Wlndfall Point Isabelle Furtls llle Hobbs and Leisure came to Windfall High School to lncrrrc 1 mcmbsr of the frtshman cliss A few days liter we had a class meeting and elected the following cfflcc rs Prcsident Floyd Lacx Xice President Lee Leavell Secretary Treasurer Bettx Mc Daniels and class sponsor Mr Ragains Later Mark Brletwifser was chrsen s our Student Councilor On September 22 the first social function was held for every one in the high school were all initlated by the SGDIOFS They made each freshman perfarm We were then 1 pupil of the high school and not Just a little freshman to be laughed at The Halloween Carnival sponsortd by the seniors was held October 31 at the High School Gymnasium We freshman helped the seniors bt presenting cur show Dr Klllem and Dr Cuttem which was one of the several attractiors Vle ws freshmen ture thrilled to receive first prize for our show Vle closed the wear hy sponsoring a show at Wmdfall On September 8 1939 forty four boys and girls came to Windafall as sophomores At our first class meeting we elected the following officers President Myrxal Frcx Secretary Treasure Rosemary Behr and class sponsor Mr Brugger The Annual Halloween Festival sponsored by the seniors was held October 31 at the school gy mnasium Vie again helped the senlors bt taking part and presenting our show A Hillbllly Vl eddxn We were fortunate in that we again won fxrst prize Next war we hope to be jolly Juniors Ethel Mae Tobias Page Twenty four V .
