'lf-fl 1 - - ff DAREDEVIL 1968 WONDERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL Hattieville, Arkansas Marinelle Halbrook, Donna Hale: Co-Editors --q,-,,--+-- .. - 2 l: wea n . 1 s .fb ' an M M' ' N ' -J ' I Foreword The purpose of any yearbook is to capture and hold the activ- ities and some of the special moments of a school year. This is what We have tried to do in this year's annual. There have been a lot of changes in our school system this year--from our new elementary school to expanded class rooms for high school and added courses to our curriculum, It would be impossible to record all the events that took place this year but we have tried to cover the most important things. We would like to thank everyone for cooperating with us as we worked on the annual and hope that everyone will look back later and be proud of their 1968 DAREDEVIL. Introduction . . Foreword . Dedic ation ......... Faculty and Administration Seniors . . Undergrads . Snapshots . . Activities . . . Organizations . . Snapshots . Athletics . . Autographs . . Elementary . . Advertisements ...... if It is with great pleasure that we dedicate the 1968 DAREDEVIL to Mrs. Bonnie Stracner. We feel no one is more deserving of this honor. Mrs. Bonnie has proven to be a teacher who is a favorite among the students as well as the other teachers. Her sense of humor along with her willingness to see the other side make a combination that is really appreciated by the students. As the yearbook sponsor, she has worked harder than anyone to make a success of our yearbook. We would like to take this opportunity to say Thank you, Mrs. Bonnie, for doing a lot of hard work, being a good friend, a delightful teacher, and a lot of fun. 96 Mlnlsrnulon Ano neun Superintendent It is always a pleasure to be given the honor of writing a personal message in a school yearbook. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the staff and sponsor for the fine job they have done on the 1968 DAREDEVIL. Although these are the people who did the work, it would have been impossible to produce a yearbook without the cooperation of the whole school. Through the cooperation of the students, faculty, school board, and the people of this area we are making valuable progress here at Wonderview. Progress that is exempli- fied in our new elementary school and the many improvements in high school facilites. With the continued cooperation of everyone, I believe we can look forward to an even more rewarding future. We have had many things to be proud of this school year and I don't think any one is any more proud than I. Sincerely, KW'-ff ' Raymond Kinslow Principal To the Seniors of '68: At this time we wish to congratulate the graduating class on a job well done. We hope that you will be able to find success in the future whether you choose to go to college or on to work. The main bit of advice that can be given is this---No matter what you do--do it as well as you possibly can. Set your goals high so that you can enjoy success on the way up and enjoy a profitable adult life. Best wishes always , Robert Mauck Board of Directors Alvin Ford Tony Rowell Doyle Franklin President We, the school board, think that we have had one of the best school years we have ever had. There have been many things done to our school the past year. We have a new elementary school, a new water system, and a new science department. The Agri and Home Ec de- partments have been remodeled along with the school library and new rest-room facilities were installed in the high school. We are proud of our Superintendent and the School faculty. They have done a wonderful job, and the people of the Wonderview District have worked hard for the benefit of the school. We sincerely feel that all these improvements are very worthwhile for such a fine group of students as we have attending this school. We really appreciate this opportunity to express our pride in this school and the people.
