KATHRYN EMMA SNYDER Kay Kathryn started the long climb with us in first grade. She has always been one of the more studious members of our class and is very co-operative, volunteering her services when ever she can. Since Kathryn has taken the Commercial Course, her main QW' interest is some day to become an accountant. Sewing is her f 'id favorite hobby and she has been successful in making quite a YT? few things. We wish Kathryn the best of everything. Band 1, 2, 3, 4 Glee Club 4 Orchestra 3, 4 Chorus 1, 2, 3, 4 County Chorus 4 Lionaires 4 Marching Band 1, 2 LEROY WILLIAM ZERBE Zerb Leroy, our brown eyed commercial student, came to Womels- dorf School in the third grade. To most of the students he is known as Zerb. His favorite pastime is bowling, but he takes a great interest in all sports. Even though Leroy is very quiet, he is liked by everyone. Louise, as she is bet- ter known, began her career in W.H.S. in her freshman year. She takes great delight in getting into trouble and chewing on that stick of gum. She takes the Home Economics Course and participates in the senior chorus and the Photography Club. Louise is also inter- ested in dramatics, having taken part in both the junior and senior class plays. Her future plans call for a trip to Texas. CURTIS FRANKLIN SCHNECK Elmer Curtis, better known as Elmer , joined us in the ninth grade. Curtis is a great admirer of the opposite sex, but girls run a poor second to sports. His favorite is baseball, and he has been a member of the team for two years. Curtis has taken the Com- mercial Course and plans to study salesmanship in the future. We are sure that with Curtis's gift for talking, he will make many sales. tri Baseball 3, 4 Chorus 2, 3, 4 Newspaper Club 4 .gums DAVID ALAN SEYLER Sey David, an original member of the class, has been our leader for the past three years. Sey has a leaning toward music and participated in the band, orchestra, chorus and glee club while in school. His hobby is photography, but his favorite pastime is visiting Rehrersburg. Luther Burbank will soon have a new rival, for Sey intends to continue his schooling at Penn State, where he plans to study Horticulture. Class Play 3, 4 Lionaires 4 Chorus 1, 2, 3, 4 County Chorus 1, 3, 4 Band 1, 2, 3 District Chorus 3 Orchestra 2, 3 Glee Club 3, 4 Marching Band 1, 2 LOU J ANETTE SHARTLE Lou Lou is one of the original members of the Senior Class. She has taken the academic course with German as her favorite subject. Lou is also interested in dramaticsg she took an active part in the Junior Class Play. Lou is one of our better art students. In fact, she intends to continue her studies in this field after gradu- ation by taking up interior decorating.
