FRANKLIN ALEXANDER MILLONIS Frank,' This conspicuously handsome lad hails from Bethany. Although he 1S very quiet, he has made many friends. His main interest is spending his time with a blonde in the Junior Class. After gradu- 15 ation, Frank would like to enter Franklin and Marshall College where he intends to study medicine. We know with his pleasing personality and great ambitions to get things done, he will be a success. Chorus 1, 2, 3, 4 Science Club 4 Basketball 3, 4 Class Play 4 42 'f' BLANCHE NELDA KNOLL Dolly This dark eyed lass, known to her younger brother as Dolly Doodles , joined us in her freshman year. One of her hobbies is signing her name with numbers 2-14-11. Although she is one of the smallest members of our class, she is by no means un- noticed, because her fancy little giggle always gives her away. She is a Home Economics girl whose favorite pastime is knitting socks for a certain Senior lad. As to her future she is undecided, but with her background we feel someday she will make a good Dietitian. He has been quite active in sports, participating in basketball and baseball, t'Herby can be quite a rascal at times, and one of' his favorite pastimes is annoying teachers and the girls in the class. Although the girls pretend to dislike it, we have a feeling they really don't. He has his eye set on the Air Force after gradu- ation and We're sure he will be quite an asset to it. JOAN PAULINE HERBINE Shorty is not misnamed, for she is the smallest in the class. Joan joined us in sixth grade. She is taking the commercial course and is a good student, although she can be silly and mis- chievous at times. Joan's hobby is dancing, but other interests include riding around in an Olds 98, deep sea fishing, and cheer- leading. She hopes to attend business school after graduation and enter business as a bookkeeper. ELSIE EMMA HARTMAN Elsie Elsie, our 4' MIA blonde came to us in ninth grade from the Leiss school. Elsie can usually be found in the midst of laughter. She enjoys watching humorous programs on television. How- ever, many times she can be found hiking. She enjoys fixing peop1e's hair and does very well. After graduation she intends to enroll at Bryland Institute and make a living as a beautician. With the ability she possesses, we know she will be a success. Among her several hobbies, Fay considers dancing, ice skating, and .art work as her favorites. Fay also has a very definite inter- est in a certain fellow named UDick . In her leisure time, Fay can usually be found at home watching a television program. After graduation, Fay plans to go to art school. The class ex- tends to Fay its warmest wishes in her chosen career of art. Donnie, as he is always called by his classmates, is always happy and keeps us smiling with his infectious grin. Donnie has taken the commercial course, but chooses P.O.D. for his favorite subject. Donnie's favorite pastime is hunting, but he also professes a great liking for baseball. Despite the fact that Donnie's future is undecided, we have a feeling that Hart- man and Schwartz may be partners in a Funeral Home in future years. She plans to attend Kutztown State Teachers C-ollege to major in English, then teach in Europe after graduation. Her hobby is corresponding with people from other countries. Her pet peeve is health class but she enjoys talking about Congress and dancing. Chorus 4 Newspaper Club 4 I ,,,,, . an 1... -N NORA ELIZABETH SCHWARTZ Sis,' Nora, an active member of our class since first grade, is very musically inclined. Most of her spare time is spent playing the piano and the clarinet or singing. She can usually be found where there is gaiety and laughter. Even though most of her time is spent musically, she always has a minute for a two-tone gray '49 Pontiac. In the future, Nora intends to study nursing. We are sure Nora will be successful because of her sympathetic nature.
