LARRY CARL GERHART Mountain Goat Larry, a dark haired, very shy lad, began school with us in our first year. We have spent twelve successful years together. Larry, better known to some of us as Mountain Goat , is a com- mercial student. His hobbies are bowling and hunting. He is qlulte a bowler! '35 J , JANE LOUISE FLICKINGER Flick Jane, better known as Flick , is one of the original members of our class. Although Jane is one of the smallest class members, her favorite pastime is getting into trouble, an avocation at which she is very successful. Her hobbies are ice-skating. and dancing, but at the present time she spends .most of her leisure time watching for a certain guy. Jane will provide competi- tion for famous hair stylists, because she plans to attend hair- dressing school after graduation. CHARLES AUGUSTUS HARTMAN Sadie Charles, who is nicknamed Sadie , is the tallest and best-na- tured member of the class. He is one of the original thirty-three members. Although his father's Kaiser takes up a great deal of his time, his main interest lies in a Certain Bethany girl. After graduation, Sadie wishes to enter mortician school. We know that with his energy he will be a great success. SUE MARIE BOYER Giggles This fun loving girl came to Womelsdorf from Bethany in the ninth grade. When you hear giggling you can be sure Que is around someplace. Some of her interests include a certain guy from Bethany who, at the present, is a Senior here at school. Sue's hobbies are playing the piano and trapping, Her favor- ite subjects are typing and shorthand. In the future Sue wishes to be a medical secretary. We are sure she will be a very good one. He has been an asset to our class ever since he joined us in ninth grade. Eck's two main interests are sports and girls, to each of which he devotes an equal amount of time and effort. Whenever you hear something brewing in the back of Room 4, you can be sure Eck is the ring leader. We are sure with his persuasive ways he will have no trouble making his way through life. Her leisure time is spent listening to the latest song-hits, in reading, and in singing popular songs. However, she likes most to spend her time with a certain dark- haired lad from Robesonia. After school she plans to attend the Reading Hospital, not as a patient, but as a nurse. JOAN PAULINE HERBINE Shorty is not misnamed, for she is the smallest in the class. Joan joined us in sixth grade. She is taking the commercial course and is a good student, although she can be silly and mis- chievous at times. Joan's hobby is dancing, but other interests include riding around in an Olds 98, deep sea fishing, and cheer- leading. She hopes to attend business school after graduation and enter business as a bookkeeper. ELSIE EMMA HARTMAN Elsie Elsie, our 4' MIA blonde came to us in ninth grade from the Leiss school. Elsie can usually be found in the midst of laughter. She enjoys watching humorous programs on television. How- ever, many times she can be found hiking. She enjoys fixing peop1e's hair and does very well. After graduation she intends to enroll at Bryland Institute and make a living as a beautician. With the ability she possesses, we know she will be a success. In her leisure time, Fay can usually be found at home watching a television program. After graduation, Fay plans to go to art school.
