He is very popular with fellow classmates and his attentions are centered upon a certain lassie he claims does not appeal to him. Upon graduation he intends to farm for his father and, later on, maybe own his own farm. All the luck and success to you, Quentin. He is a quiet fellow and likes to work with machines. He has taken an active part in many of the school activities. His interests are centered around a certain Iunior gal. IOAN DORIS FETTER Commercial This attractive and energetic girl joined us in her freshman year. Ioan's pleasant disposition will win her a good place in the world. She intends to further her education at a hotel training school in NVashington, D. C. She loves to dance, swim, and ice skate, but her favorite pastime is listening to the radio and reading novels. We know Ioan will be in the office in some of our largest hotels. SECRETARY OF CHORUS-4 CLASS PLAY-4 cr-roxus-2, 3, 4 ESTHER MAE CABLE Commercial Esther Mae joined the gang, in her freshman year. She is an attractive blonde with a charming personality. Cabes is musically inclined and is a member of the band, orchestra, and chorus. Swimming, ice skating, and football are her favor- ite sports. In the near future, she plans to enter Lewis Train- ing School in VVashington, D. C., to become a receptionist. XVe know that with her ready smile she will succeed. BETTY CROSS Home Economics Betty, who joined us in our freshman year, hails from Host. She is a very active home economics student. Some of Betty's time is spent listening to popular music and knitting, but, of course, the greatest part of her leisure time is spent with a certain senior lad. Her quiet manner and her ability to giggle has won Betty many friends in Womelsdorf High School. Betty's plans for the future arcn't certain as yet, but whatever Betty decides to do we wish her luck and we know she will succeed. cnonus-2, 3, 4 Y-TEENS-1 MARLIN EARL LENGLE Academic Whenever you hear a noise in the back of the room, you know Tim, as he is better known, is up to one of his pranks. He is one of the original members who started with us in our long trek to graduation. His favorite subject is Ger- man, and his leisure is spent at Speck's. He is uncertain about his future, but because he is so full of life and fun, perhaps the life of a professional comedian would be to his liking! He seems to be a quiet fellow, but can be a lot of fun. As to the future, he is undecided. May we suggest he try his hand at running a farm, or perhaps look into man- aging a chain grocery store? We trust he will find a successful nook in society! Mary has a very sweet personality, and she has become well acquainted in Womelsdorf High School. Mary's favorite subject is home economics, her hobbies are collecting western recordings and participating in 4H work. She spends most of her time doing such home economics projects as knitting.
