Betty who can always be de- pended upon for a joke and a laugh, has her greatest interest in a certain junior. Her favorite pastime is col- lecting photographs. She expects to go to school in Washington, D. C. to be a receptionist. So here's wishing her success and happiness in her future years. He plays the clarinet and is one of the student band conductors. In sports, his ability was on the basket- ball and baseball team. He has taken the academic course through high school, and we wish him the best of luck and success in whatever he un- dertakes. Nellie Mae Engle ACADEMIC This fair haired lassie joined our class in ninth grade, and has reached the goal she has striven for. Nellie plays a clarinet in the high school band and takes pride in her ability of being able to play the Clarinet Polka. As for her future, she has not definitely decided, but whatever she undertakes, we wish her the best of luck and success. Band-1, 2, 3, 4 County Band-3 Chorus-3, 4 Class Play-3, 4 W-Club-4 Cheerleading-2 Robert Lewis Garrett ACADEMIC Robert, better known by everyone as Red, joined us in his fourth grade. Whenever we hear loud laughter in the back of Room 6 you know Red is up to his stunts again. He took an active part in our junior Play. When Red graduates, he wants to join the service. We wish this young man luck and success in all he ever undertakes during his future years. Jeanette Mae Miller COMMERCIAL Jeanette has been in our class since first grade. Although she is quiet she is a lot of fun and is well liked by her classmates. Her favorite pastime is eat- ing almost anything. Jeanette is look- ing forward to being a stenographer. She has taken the commercial course which prepared her for this job. Mfe all wish her success and happiness in the future. Y-teens-2, 3, 4 Chorus-3, 4 Hans Henry Gosch, jr. ACADEMIC Hans joined our class in fourth grade and became well liked by class- mates. He is a very active member of the class participating in everything possible. In his senior year, he was president of the class and vice presi- dent of the W-Club. I-Ie has partici' pated in sports and is varsity material on the basketball team. Although un- decided about his future we wish him luck and success. Better known to the class as Tootg Gladys seems to say very little about the opposite sex. She intends to be an elementary teacher. We wish her success and the best of luck.
