' ELLA JANE KURTZ Kid Ella Jane joined us in the senior class, having completed her course at Marion Township High. She is a dark-haired girl and gets along with the pupils as well as the teachers. Wherever there is noise in the schoolroom, Ella lane is there and always with a smile, but never neglects her assignments. After Ella lane is through school she expects to be a Medical Doctor. She might be a good Slave driver judging from her excellent leadership on the yearbook. We wish Ella lane lots of luck and success throughout her career. Dramatic Club 4. Class Ply 4. DoRo'rHY AGNES MOYER Dottie Dorothy entered our class in her senior year and has indeed established an enviable record. The first impression of this blue- eyed girl leads one to think she is of a quiet type nature, but working with her during the past year has taught us to know her. Wherever mischief is to be found, there is Dorothy.'l Even though her humor was apparent and loud laughter heard, her lessons were not neglected. Whatever she plans to take up after graduation is not yet certain, but we all know she will succeed in whatever she undertakes. Chorus 4. Dramatic Club 4. Class Play 4. News MARY ALICE RANK Mary Alice With her friendly attitude for all Mary Alice has found many friends among her classmates. This fair lass joined our class as a senior in September. Upon first meeting, she appears to be a very quiet girl, although she is always ready to join us in a good laugh. Mary Alice has kept her ambitions a secret, but her major is home economics. Whatever it is, we wish you the best of what the. world has to offer. Good luck, Mary Alice! Band 4. Class Play 4.

SYLVIA BARBARA KIPHORN Kip This blonde-haired lassie joined us in eighth grade and has served well as president ever since. Her loveliness and pleasing personality are known all over the school, but just ask the l'Navy,', he knows! Wherever there is noise Sylvia is always in the midst of it. The things that tempt her most are throwing other people's shoes around the classroom and cracking gum. After graduation Sylvia intends becoming a Bookkeeper. ALBERTA SHEPLER Bert This energetic lassie, commonly known by her friends as Bert,', joined the class of '46 in the eighth grade. Bert is an active member of the class and alwaysco-operates when she is able. Alberta seems to say very little about the opposite sex. As her favorite subjects in school are shorthand and typing, we know she will be a successful secretary after graduation. Her leadership in the art work of the yearbook proves, however, that her versatility is not limited. Good luck, Bert! 'Needlecraft 2, 3. Tri-Hi-Y 1. Dramatics 4. Class Play 3, 4. 1 PV? fs '- 1 x M 2 Twelve long years we spent with thee, And now those years will cease As we leave our high school days In this year of returning peace. We've had our toils and hardships, too, Which year by year increased But we conquered them along the way Toward this year of returning peace. LORRAINE ANNA TROUTMAN Trouty,' Trouty, one of the many good-looking blondes of the senior class, joined up in her freshman year. She commutes daily from Wernersville to complete her last year. Whenever you hear any strange noises coming out of 12th grade homeroom, you know Lorraine has one of her giggling spells again. At the first sign of mischief she is right there, adding her two cents. Then, too, she is presently interested in a lively basketball player. Trouty's future career is as yet in the dark, but we wish her lots of luck in whatever she decides to undertake. Band 1. Dramatics 2, 4. Newspaper Club 3. Class Play 3, 4. Peace We've had our gaiety and fun It never seemed to cease, But now we know our task is done In this year of returning peace. And now the time to part is near But our thanks shall never cease, To the school that helped prepare our lives For this year of returning peace. -PAUL H. M. BENNETHUM
