RICHARD LEE GARRETT This red-headed chap, formerly from Wernersville, entered our class in seventh grade. Red,' provides the Senior Class with humor and fun. Whenever you heard the Seniors in hysterics, Red was up to something. He was a good basketball player, and had a talent for art which he applied to do a fine job on the snap section of our yearbook. He has decided to study Forestry at Penn State. In whatever he undertakes, we wish him the best of luck and success. Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4. Class Play 3, 4. Art Club 3, 4. Math 8: Science 1 Club 1. Newspaper 2. Chorus 4. EVA REBECCA GABLE Gaines This young lass found many friends among her classmates. She entered our class in ourFreshman year. She is noted for her excellent musical ability and for her friendly smile and ever present Hgigglef' She enjoys fun and joins right in, and is among the leaders in scholastic achievement. She is studying commercial work and perhaps some day she will combine her musical and business abilities to make a fine career. Whatever she may under- take after graduation, we know that she will succeed. Band 1, 2, 3, 4. Chorus 4. Class Play 3, 4. Debating 4. ffRedH ALVERTA GERHART Benn Alverta is another lass from Stouchsburg. She appears to be the quiet type among strangers, but when we really get to know her she is always ready to help in a bit of fun. Alverta is noted for her abundance of freckles. She always gives her share of help in putting over any class activity. We do not know what Alverta has planned for her future days, but in whatever field she makes her choice, we wish her success on the road of life. Dramatic Club 4. Class Play 4.

Doius DEWONIA DECK Doris joined our class in her senior year from Stouchsburg. This little attractive Miss looks to be the quiet type but she has plenty of tricks behind her ears. She has been a pleasant and cooperative addition to our class. Doris is a member of the Dramatic Club. When she graduates she plans to enter business school and become a Secretary. We wish you lots of luck, Doris, in your future, which we know will be a successful one. Class Play 4. Dramatics Club 4. JOHN FEITER Pete joined us in our freshman year. He ranks high in scholastic standing, and has served as Vice-president for our last two years. He is quite an active basketball player, and his talkative manner has made him one of the popular members of our group. Most of his time is spent with one of the fairer members of the class, in whom he takes a keen interest. Whenever there is a stirring in the classroom, you can count on Iohnnyls being around. His greatest ambition is to become a chemist, and we know that Franklin and Marshall College will claim a worthy student in the fall. Basketball 2, 3, 4. Band 1, 2, 3, 4. Class Play 3, 4. Vice- president 3, 4. ffDeCky7! LEAH AUDREY DECK Dolly This fair-haired lass has been with us ever since we started our education in first grade. Dolly is quite an active member of the class. To most of her friends it may seem that her chief interest lies in a certain Iunior lad, but her school work shows that studies are not neglected. She has served as an efficient Treasurer for our Senior Year and always helps to the best of her ability. Doms ANNA GETTEL Red Cheerful and energetic can best describe this Miss who joined us in our junior year. Her jovial manner and cheery spirit have won her many friends in whom she has found true companion- ship. Among her many interests she has a very special feeling for a young man in Florida, who delights in sending her 4'Vitamins from the Sunny South. Doris' profession is as yet undecided and we are certain that if she continues to look on the sunny side of life, she is sure to be a success. Newspaper 3, 4. Dramatics I, 2, 4. Class Play 4. Waff' ISABELLE MAY HOEFA Issy Whenever you hear a hearty laugh or a silly giggle, you can be sure it's Issy, another girl who joined us in our Iunior year. As for official title, perhaps, 'cclass mailman would fit. She has been most co-operative and helpful to our class needs, decor- ating and clean-up committees were never complete without her. Her highlights in sports have been one of her greatest assets. Issy has not decided upon the future, but whatever she under- takes, we know she will prove a great success. PAULINE HOLLENBACH Polly 'fPolly, who hails from Stouchsburg, has been with us through her senior year. Her cooperative spirit and enthusiastic response to all requests have proven her to be an asset to our group. Although she is very quiet, she is always ready to laugh at our Witty jokes. By her presentation on our Thanksgiving Program we are sure, with her dramatic ability she will succeed when she enters 'LLife's Schoolf' To you Polly we wish success and happiness in whatever your future holds.
