Ruth Kurtz Pauline Long Kurtzie Longie,' WOMELSDORF woMELsDoRF X This charming lass joined our class in September. It didn't take her long to get to know the members of the class and to be- come a well liked member. Upon meeting her, she appears to be a very quiet girl, but sheis just as lively as anyone. It didnit take her long to become interested in one of the male members of the class, namely, 'tOllie. Activities 4. X This attractive lassie has been a favorite of the class through- out our twelve years of school. Although very quiet at times, Pauline is always ready to join us in a good laugh. Her ability to draw has helped to make the school newspaper a success. Longie has always kept her ambitions a secret but whatever it is we know she'll succeed. As you might know, he is very energetic and is always good for another joke. Besides basketball in tenth and eleventh grade, his interests have been the Band and, al- though he lives two blocks from the school, he is always next door-visiting the ulittle lady. Melvin Hoover Mellie WOMELSDORF X This energetic lad despite of his smallness is one of the older boys of the class. He has a good sense of humor and always finds time for a good laugh. He is a lover of most sports, especially basketball. uMellie has seen some varsity action before this year, but this year he has earned a regular forward post and has captained the team on various occasions. She has taken an active part in vocal and instrumental music in her four years of high school. Al- though musically inclined, she does quite well in her lessons.
