W... 1 1 Wg55g5.s.scaxv CLASS HISTORY O! the first graders who started scnool in tne fall of 1955 only tnree are completing their twelve long years in tne Woleey Public Bcnools. They are Marcella Klicker, Homer Cnrlstopherson and Marvin Rawstern. Twelve green Freshmen entered high scnool nere in Beptember, 1944. Bernlece Gogolin was elected class president and Marion Btoppelaoor and Eva Oberg were king and queen candidates. Tnil Freshman class was sponsored by Mrs. Cbristopnerson. Our class remained a small one during our Sophomore year. Eva Oberg led tne class as preeldent and Mrs. Christcpnerson again spon- sored the class Marvin Rawstern and Marie Frank were eelected as our Carnival king and queen candidates. Tne nlgn lignt of our Junior year was tne play 'Ghost Chasers in wnicn all the Juniors took part Marvin Rawstern was president of tne class witn Mrs Hammer as advisor Homer Cnristopnerson and Marcella Klicker were eelected as candidates for Carnival king and queen Marvin Rawstern made the all tournament team. The last year tne Seniors were sponsored by Mr Riohert Marion Btoppelmoor was elected class president and Marvin Wagner and Alice Licnt were our king and queen candidates. Homer bnristonnerson and Marvin Rawstern were selected nonorary Oo captains for the basket ball season 1946-47 We have yet to present the Senior play and enjoy Skip Day We are all looking forward to graduation The class of 1947 wish to extend the sincerest good wishes for success to all of tnose who follow in our footsteps X Kr N ' pl! Q gig S SS CLASS nor:-lscv The time le May, 1957--ten long years since the Claes of '47 grad uated from Uolsey High School As the story begins, Marcella Kllcker and Berniece Sch p are making preparations for a vacation tour of the United States. Marcella is married to a wealthy Wolsey banker and has two 'young ones' to tend to. Berniecs and her husband own a one-thousand acre wheat farm north of Wolsey. After being up in the air for only a few hours, their plane develops motor trouble and they are forced to land in a lonely place in Wyoming The plane is spotted by a rancher who immediately rushes to the scene The rancher happens to be none other than Homer Chrietopherson, one of their classmates Homer informs them that he is now a 'big time' rancher, owning several thousand sheep This, however, does not comprise all of his wordly possessions He has a very lovely wife and a two year old son who, he says, is going to follow in his footsteps and be a sheep herder too When the girls near that he ls married, they are shocked Homer had commonly been referred to as the lone wolf during his high school days ana they are amazed that some woman was finally able to capture Dim The motor trouble did not prove to be anything serious and before long they are ready to reeune their trip We are sorry, and so are the two girls, but they must say goodbye to Homer and be on their way again The next stooplng nlnce is a town at the foot of the Rocky Mountains where they try to find a lodging place for the night They are directed , , .X h 'i .559 lpui kgg s ah .I 5 . . .
