PRIDE OF THE PACK This year's J. VY Cheerleaders did a great job ofpromoting school spirit. Under the guidance ofcaptain Michelle Thomas and co-captain Shannon Campbell, they supported the athletic teams of Wolfson. This year 's squad also competed in the Cheerleading Championships in Nashville, Tennessee, to determine their cheering ability with other squads. After many hours of hard practice, it all paid off. This year's J. VC Cheerleading Squad was ranked seventh in the nation. The squad also competed in the Duval County Cheerleading Competition on Jan- uary I7th. Football team again proved Wolfson proud of its athletic program. Coach Ron Brooks and Coach Mike Tbifer led the Pack to a record of 2-5. Although the players did not end the season with a perfect record, their pride and love for football showed up in every practice, workout and play. The team went through rigorous after school workouts which con- sisted of everything from warm-up exercises to practice sacks and hits in order to fully develop each individual player's skills and potential for up com- ing games and possibly for next year's varsity team. The players should be commended for doing a finejob in representing Wolfson with all oftheir school spirit and hard effort.
