. ,, . is V, , r f, 5 Z MISS SMITH Miriam Jean Smith, our assistant principal, had beginnings in Jacksonville where she graduated from Landon High School. Her ambition was to be a social worker and even though she went into education, in her role as administrator she uses the skills of working with and understanding people which she gained from her degree in Psychology. Those who know her best say she has always been willing to give of herself to help others. Here at Wolfson we know this to be true. 233

MR. WHITE Mr. White, our principal, has experienced many beginnings. Mr. White attended Port. St. Joe High School in Florida and at the time wanted to become an astronaut. He later, however, chose the field of education. ln 1971, Mr. White became the dean of Wolfson and served for two years. He began his career as a principal at Lee High School. This year he marks another beginning in his life-the fulfill- ment of his dream to return to Wolfson as principal. He hopes to make Wolfson the top school in the county and has brought about a number of changes in order to meet this goal. Teachers and students alike have found Mr. White to be a fair, conscientious, and hard working principal. f nz., V Hz.. 232
