FRENCH N S'AIVlClSE BIEN! The purpose of the French Club is to expand the students knowledge and understanding of the French language and culture. The members have a lot of fun while achieveing this goal. They competed in the annual state event, the French Congres, and will travel to New Orleans at the end of the school year. The club is also active in school and city affairs. This year they spon- sored Band Appreciation Day, sold candygrams, participated in the French-a-thon, held a car-wash and worked with the special olympics. GRAPHIICS STOP THE PRESS!! Graphic Arts is a club that is dedicated to the purpose of printing items for the school. They work all year producing tickets, posters, programs for the schools use. Graphic Arts stu- dents also keep themselves busy with special community projects. The man responsible for organizing all of these projects and teaching his stu- dents howto print, silkscreen, and run the press everyday during 4th period - is Mr. Sweet.
