Star Student Each year the faculty nominates students for this award who are in their junior year. After the student is chosen, he or she will serve during their senior year. This student must show leadership, accomplishment, and must be aware of the free enterprise economic system. Brenda Boykin is the star student for this year. Some of the reasons Brenda was selected was her par- ticipation in the following activities here at Wolfson. She has been in N. H. S. one year, House of Representatives two years, Anchor three years, Junior Director one year, French Club one year, and was on the PTSA board. National lVlerit Scholars This year's National Merit Scholars are Beverly Boykin and Floss Hightower. They achieved this award by tak- ing the PSAT in their sophomore and junior year. Then they were ranked with other students taking the test. Beverly and Boss were in the one-half of one percentile in the state. 7 35 BEVERLY BOYKIN R033 HIGHTQWER
