SENIOR SCHOLARS These eleven seniors have achieved the highest scholastic averages in the senior class of 19771. They are pictured below doing the ac- tivities they enjoy. BEVERLY BOYKIN This year Beverly is the valedictorian with an average of 4.146. Her favorite sport is water skiing and her favorite subject is Biology. In her spare time she rides horses and enjoys creative writing. After gradua- tion, Beverly plans to become a naval biologist. CHRISTOPHER SULLIVAN 1 This year Chris is the salutatiorian with an average of 4.130. His favorite sport is baseball. ln his spare time he enjoys playing poker, eating, and watching television. His favorite subject is Latin. After graduation, Chris plans to become a nuclear physicist. MARK VORWALLER Mark has maintained an average this year of 4.000. His hobby is playing his guitar. His number one sport is surfing, but he also enjoys basketball and baseball. His favorite subject is chemistry. After Mark graduates, he plans to become a nuclear physicist. DAVID DUBOSE David has maintained an average of 3.979. David's favorite subject is Latin. His favorite sports are basketball, playing cards, and softball. He also collects coins as a hobby. ln the summer David works at the Independent Life Building. After David graduates he is planning to major in the business field. BRENDA BOYKIN Brenda has maintained an average of 3.978. Brenda enjoys creative writing and reading as a hob- by. Her favorite subject is English and her favorite sports are horseback riding and water skiing. After Brenda graduates, she plans to become a journalist. JOHN KAMPFE John has maintained an average of 3.886. John's favorite subject is calculus. He enjoys playing basket- ball and poker. In his sparetime he enjoys watching television.
