As each snowflake fell softly from the sky, I felt as though my inner peace was returning with it. As I walked out into the swirls of intricate light, I watched as all the children emerged to stand and gaze at the wonder. I lifted my face to the sky in hopes of catching a few of those perfect jewels. And, holding out my hand, I smiled silently as each small wonder melted upon my skin, the warmth quickly overpowering the cold. There came to rest in the air, a lingering silence full of songs and whispered words. Treasured thoughts for only the hopeful to hear. lt's strange how many miracles can come from a gray and bashful sky. In such a short span of time, we were given an endless amount of love. Each of us came to understand that, which comes but only once. Perhaps the snow came, just to lay a blanket of goodness upon our Anonymous 174 hearts. Craig Kuether Mark Pappy

Remember that we are the offspring of a loaded clipper ship, And our ancestors tilled the soil and felt the sting of the whip. Remember men have died so that men might carry on, We must go forth, stepping on strong Remember we must unite all together as one, The beautiful people under the sun.
