Next stop was Tennessee and here I found Nettre Foster She tells me that she marr1ed her arr force man but he 15 now engaged rn farmlng and rarslng many lrttle thrngs Not far from Nettle s house I fmd Bob Altman not engaged rn farmxng but he s rarsrng more southern belles for nothern boys Whrle there I prcked up a paper and read the latest news One of the blg stones was of three female book leggers who were caught at therr strll on the h1ll Iwas shocked to fllld they are former classmates Four Roses Mathew Schlrtz Wagner and Gm Ann Blanchette After readrng th1s pleasant artrcle I remembered that there rs one person mrssrng from that gang and upon consultrng my ltttle black book I learned the m1ss1ng one was Leona Brown Leona marr1ed Vern Lehman and they are hvrng rn our old home town Iguess that Leona was the only one that had nerve enough to stay and lrve among the broad mlnded people rn our old home town of Wolcott Well to get on wtth my story my canoe was bottom worn and I was paddle weary so I decrded to trade th1s beautrful antrque rn on a newer model a donkey!
