Certainly, upon graduat ion many graduates are naturally scared about the future with many of you leaving the safe surroundings of Woburn High School. For many of you entering colleges and businesses a considerable distance from your families, this will be even a greater change. World War I pilot Eddie Rickenbacker commented, “Courage is doing what you’re afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you’re scared.’’ Certainly, these qualities of courage have been nurtured by your families and by your teachers. May each of you go forth with the courage of your convictions to do what is in the best interests of your family, your city, and your country. Sincerely, v CL e Paul J.
