GIRLS TRACK The Girls Team finished with an even record of four wins and four losses. However, they have much to show for this year evidenced by four new school records — Lisa DeSimone in the 50-yard hurdles, the two-mile relay team of Paula Galvin, Jane Qualey, Dawn Connors, and Patsy Connors; the 4X220 relay team of Kristen Williams, Michelle Masotta, Michelle Poulin, and Melissa Lombard; and the mile relay with P. Galvin, J. Qualey, P. Connors, and M. Poulin. Co-Captains Paula Galvin and Leeanne Minghella led this very competitive team to high finishes in the State Coaches Meet and the State Relays. Coach Maltacea will miss the services of seniors Paula Galvin, Leeanne Minghella, Dawn Connors, Ellen Sardy, Eileen Durkin, and Cindy Lawson next year.
