SUPERINTENDENT AND ADMINISTRATION To the Class of 1985— As students of Woburn High School, you have developed over the years an awareness that you must have a positive attitude about your studies, your work, and most important a positive attitude about your family and yourself. Academically, athletically, and socially you have made a contribution to the Woburn schools. You have been a part of our school system and an important part of your families. While all of us would like to maintain the comfortable nature of the present, the time has come to share you and your talents with the world. Our hopes are that the positive attitudes fostered by your school administrators, counselors, teachers, and family members will be strengthened over time as that positive attitude will bring you through many bad times and past people and situations which will have a pure aim towards destruction. Abraham Lincoln in an 1838 address to the Young Men ' s Lyceum in Springfield, Illinois, stated, If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. To each member of the class of 1985, may I ask you to reflect on this comment developing in each step you take, a positive attitude of reaching your goals in life, remembering that your family and school will always stand with you. Be not afraid to reach out your hand and seek the help as those of us sharing a positive attitude who will always be there to help you. God bless you all. Sincerely yours, Paul J. Kndrews Superintendent of Schools Paul J. Andrews Superintendent of Schools 20
