To The Class of 1984 - As students of Woburn High School, this particular Class of 1984 has excelled in numerous academic and athletic accomplishments, but most important, they have demonstrated a tremendous social maturity in enjoying each other as individuals. Throughout this senior year, and over your twelve years together, you have shared your successes and failures in such a way that you have all become better and wiser people. Your teachers and, even more so, your families have had the opportunity to enjoy you and now the time has come to share you with the world. The most important hope we all have today is that the ā positive values developed by your families and teachers will guide you through the coming years. A speech which President John F. Kennedy was set to present in Austin, Texas on November 22, 1963, after Dallas, summarizes clearly our thoughts today. If he had lived he would have stated, Let us stand together with renewed confidence in our cause - united in our heritage of the past and our hopes for the future - and determined that this land we love shall lead all mankind into new frontiers of peace and abundance. God bless you all. Paul J. Andrews Superintendent of Schools Paul J. Andrews Superintendent of Schools 20

My congratulations and best wishes to the Graduating Class of 1984. We have endeavored to provide you every opportuni¬ ty to develop your intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. However, the process of education clearly transcends what happens in the school. For that reason, we wish to acknowledge the contributions of your parents, relatives, and associates who have served as a positive influence on your development to this point in time. All of us at Woburn High School encourage you to continue in your growth development as caring, honest, and respectable citizens. James J. Foley Principal James J. Foley Principal 22 Paul K.
