Orel M. Bean TT is a pleasure as well as a privilege to extend friendly greetings and good wishes to you through your Yearbook as you graduate from Woburn High School. It is my sincere hope that you will not consider graduation as the end of your formal education but only the beginning. Our world needs trained minds and leadership. It is your opportunity to further your edu¬ cation that you may have a part in this leadership. Whether you have one talent or five, the assets and capacities that lie within you should be developed to their full extent. This is essential if you are to participate actively as an informed and responsible citizen in the solution of social, economic, and poli¬ tical problems of our community, state and nation. You have the courage, the imagination and energy of youth to attain this goal. Do not look for ease, comfort, and convenience, but believe in the right to work and to enjoy the products of your own labors and to receive awards according to merit. Success can be obtained in no other way. There can be no easy formula, no magic solution. Dare to be fine, true, and upright, for character will be a determining factor in the extent of your individual attainment. It has been a pleasure for us to help you and we look forward to any further service we may render. We hope you yourselves will find the joy of achievement worth working hard to attain. May the years ahead be happy ones. Orel M. Bean, Principal
