MARSHFEILD COLUMBUS INVITATIONAL The weather was not good for running; there was a cold strong wind. Mike Jensen finished 30th. The team finished 16th out of 17 schools. HODAG INVITATIONAL Despite the outstanding finish of Jensen with a 4th, the team still fin- ished 5th out of 8 schools. CHARGER INVITATIONAL Jensen led most of the race but was defeated in the home stretch as he finished 6th. Chargers finished 6th out of 8 schools. ANTIGO TRIANGULAR It was perfect weather for running. Jensen finished 6th and the Char- gers finished 3rd. SHAWANO INVITATIONAL Jensen placed a strong 11th with the rest of the team close behind. Chargers finished 10th out of 13. D.C. EVEREST INVITATIONAL Despite the cold weather the Chargers tried hard. Jensen headed with a 16th place. The team finished 11th out of 13 schools. NEKOOSA INVITATIONAL Chargers finished 5th out of 10 schools. Jensen finished 8th. WAUSAU EAST INVITATIONAL With cool weather and a large crowd there the Chargers finished 6th out of 12 schools. Mike placed 8th. ASHWAUBENON INVITATIONAL Jensen placed 5th and the team placed 7th out of 14 schools. CONFERENCE MEET Chargers had an easy victory with Jensen leading the way and Tim Beversdorf placing 4th. Jensen was named conference champ. Char- gers are champs 7 years in a row. REGIONALS Chargers placed 9th out of 12 schools. 13
