1 wish those guys wouldn't draw dirty pictures on their score cards. Who says the score keeper can't cheat? Puttering Around Egad it’s NOT working! It's stuck in my belly-button! Anyone who has ever golfed knows it takes concentration, practice, and a large amount of skill to be good. Our boys golf team combined these three ingredients to establish new records in Charger sports. Though golfers went equipped with swim fins to most of the matches they still established a respectable record. That gopher ran like hell, but I did get my ball back. 29

Bats, Bases and Homeruns Though the season was cut short by the monsoon rains which hit in the spring, the Charger baseball team achieved many rewarding successes. All the hardy members gained great satisfac- tion from their sunburns, blisters, and sweat, that led up to gratifying victo- ries. Now cut it out, you guys! If you can’t teach ’em entertain 'em! Enough to make John Wayne jealous. They Taught Us all We Know The teachers of Witt-Birn High are of a species of their own. To any visitor of our school, they may look like any run-of-the- mill bunch, but the student body of Witt- Birn know better. Even the most stem teach- ers have a bit of humor in them which seeps out at the strangest times. Some people never grow up. GOO BOO GA GA. What a sucker! 30
