 Cramming for next hour’s econ test. Mutual interests. Bells, Books, and a Busy Morning Putting the finishing touches on my glass project. Catching up on my beauty sleep. First hour is always interrupted by a blast from the PA system consisting of old and new news com- monly known as the morning announcements. They wake you up to put you to sleep. By the time it's all over, 20 minutes later, half the class is scattered to various places for meetings, rehears- als , or questioning. After this, you learn how to clean your ears. 9

Sock if fo Me, SCHOOL! How many of us wake with the feel- ing of a bright new day. And then that thought comes to us - school! What am I going to wear? I forgot to do my homework! Do I have time to eat? I'm gonna miss the bus! Can I take the car? Isn’t school fun? The Shoemaker shuffle. Now you know what Superman looks like in the morning. Hours of Hie Mourning What plays bingo, does the Mexican hat dance and watches Donald Duck? None other than that group known as Spanish Club. Besides these noteworthy activities they have had many guest speakers. Lots of big decisions are made in the morn- ing . Like that of the student council plan- ning on picking up pop bottles from now on - Monday thru Tuesday. Sometimes they sponsor an assembly to give us an escape from our blah day. It is during some of these we realize class isn't the worst that could happen to us. It fell on your shirt. Everybody sing. According to my calculations we’re now $.03 in debt.
