CLASS PROPHEIIY or h9-S0 by lary Jean Barnes I was at a carnival the other day, and as I was walking around the grounds, I noticed a sign-'lladam Kivett, Fortune Teller . Of course, I don't believe in fortune telling, but I had been wondering about W class- mates of 1950, so I decided to go in and see if lladam Kivett could tell n anything about them. The first person I asked about was Wanda Noyes for she was my best friend in school. Uadam Kivett told me that Wanda was living on a farm near Irving. She has one little boy, Bill, four years old. Her husband drives a milk truck for his own compaq in Irving. The next person mentioned was Paul Sarsany. She said that Paul was a big fur trapper up in Quebec. He makes a very good living off of the expensive furs he gets from the animals. Next in line was Ethel Marshall. Ethel had always thought of being a cradle nurse, until she started going out with a certain Jim. Now Ethel has a nursery of her own on their farm. Gloria Rheinhardt's hands were always admired by our Shorthand teacher, Miss Bustrin, and so it must have been her hands or her looks that won for her the boss as a husband. Charles Ettling was the smallest boy in our class, and so it sort of surprised me to hear that Charles was a bear trapper in Wisconsin. Charles is doing well in his work too. He ownsa store and his own home. Betty Weller was the girl who always said that after school was out it wouldn't take long for her to be settled down in a home of her own. lell, the farm she lives on isn't only her own, but also a certain Corky's too. They have a beautiful 200 acre fam on which they are very prosperous. Jay Sarsany was the one in our class that always liked to argue, so it didn't surprise me at all to hear that -Jay was the U. S. Ambassador to Russia. ' Madam Kivett didn't have to tell me about Bill Moos or Nolan Hadley. Bill and Nolan are nv bosses. They own a large garage on Route 66 and are really making the money. I know, for I am their secretary. I had always wanted to make good money at a secretarial job and I am, now. 13
