Tigers Have Trojans For Homecoming Dinner: Tigers Are Forever. One day the students gladly piled into Withrow was October 21, 1988: HOMECOMINC DAY! Everyone was excited, because of the upcoming game and dance. Among the people that per- formed at the pe rally were Adrian Hall and Wiliam Moffett singing Guy's Groove Me, and Ryan Alexander, Kenneth Riley, and Vernon Stafford making their dancing debut. The biggest event, however, was the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen. And the winners are . . . Norman Rhodes and Teri Ralls! The parade began at 6:00 pm. at Peoplels junior High School. Be- cause of the poor weather, not many Withrow students attended, but there was tremendous partici- pation from the various organiza- tions that were scheduled to march. Despite the small turnout at the parade, there was a large number of Tigers on hand to watch as the football team defeatp ed the Glen Este Trojans 33 to 7. The dance was held at Kings' Hall in Roselawn from 10 pm. until 2 a.m. The music was great, the crowd was great, and everyone hada good time. At one point, ev- eryone in Kin 5' Hall did The Stomp . The ance rounded out the evening to a perfect Home- coming Day, not only for Norman Rhodes and Teri Rails, but for all of the Wlthrow Tigers. Norman Rhodes and Teri Ralls smile at the crowd t after being named Homecoming King and Queen.
