I am the 1964 XVithrow Annual. This has been an exciting year for me, for I have just made my public debut. If you have a few minutes to spare, let me give you 41 few examples of the hard work that the Art Staff had to endure in order to have me prepared in time for my first airing. First of QM, I needed :1 skeleton. This meant layouts to be drawn up and many hours of deep thought and concentration. Pigment needed to be given to the dull, lifeless eyes; and color was desperately needed in the snow-white' cheeks. This strange form was at last be- ginning to take shape, but was in need of accessories. Pictures were taken, selected, and cropped. Layouts were scaled and words of encouragement were released by the firm and in- spirational Art Editor, Jim Chisholm. I can now think back to the long hours, depressing moments, and changing of ideas that these poor students resisted during my creation. Now I hear all of the laborers echaiming my praise. I: must not have been in vain. Mr. Jack Mueller, Adviser, contributed his suggestions and supervised this successful experiment. As 1 symbol of the drama and devoteduess which are :1 part of Tigertown life, I shall remain in Hall of Fame for Withrow Yearbooks as a credit to the Art Staff members Who worked incessantly 50 :15 to present Wfithrowites With an accurate account of their life at Withrow this past year. I shrill always remind them of the enriching times they had during this past YCIII'. 11M CHISHOLM, Ari Edifor SYCTION HEADS-P. Clark, Seniors; 1.. Yelton. Underclnssmcn; C.
