Honest, I was in study hall during sixth bell, Mr. Rudolf. When the time has come for pupils to begin their life work, they have reached a crossroad in their young lives. Should they take the road leading to knowledge or the highway to the business world? Their ambitions will have great influence on their final decision because one's vocation depends upon individual likes and desires. When students begin to Worry about the future, Miss Murphy and Mr. Rudolf, Vocational Advisers, are always willing to discuss the opportunities open in any particular field. In order to help them, every year the school offers different -conferences. In these the stu- dents are able to learn the details connected with the field which interests them. Even though the conferences do not always settle their prob- lems, they often help considerably. An added duty of Miss Murphy and Mr. Rudolf is acquainting flustered freshmen with the new and different World which they suddenly find and all technicalities that are found in a school as large as their new environment, their Alma Mater, Withrow. ADMINISTRATION . . . Program change? Let's see what we can do. Without its responsible secretaries, Miss Allen, Miss Hoefle, and Mrs. Draude, to manage Ending cards, the in.tercom telephone, the daily bulletin, the permanent records, and inumerable other ess- ential details of life at Withrow, the student body could not take full advantage of all the opportu- nities it is offered. For schools, like businesses, need good secretaries to have top-notch results. AS THEY WATCH OVER TINY, INEXPERIENCED
