As it his numerous duties as assistant principal were not enough, he is also responsible tor managing the boolcroom and the student store, both ot which are housed in the same room on the tirst tloor. Equally typical of the high quality ot Withrow administrators, Miss Agerter, dean ot girls, helps many puzzled pupils make the right decisions. The senior girls' honorary society, Dux Femina, is sponsored by Miss Agerter. Through her influence, high standards ot scho- lastic achievement and service are maintained. Withrow Junior High proudly claims Mr. Wilbur as its head. An assistant principal, he establishes junior high policies and the program oi studies so that Etties and E-Hats are prepared to meet the ditticulties of senior high school. l-le trains, dis- ciplines, and aids seventh and eighth graders. But the faculty represent the worlcs ol the cloclc with the principal, Mr. Mathias, as that indispensable main spring. encourage New school counselor and adviser ot freshman boys, Mr. Rudolf has proved his worth by able handling ot boys' study halls and junior voca- tional conterences. Coming trom a smaller school, he says that he's walked endless halls and climbed countless tlights ot stairs at Withrow. As adviser ot treshmen girls, Miss Murphy, school counselor, helps them make out their annual programs. Under her wing, confused Htreshiesu soon become oriented to lite at Withrow. Another duty tor which she is recognized is her etticient supervision of Minstrel costumes. Mrs. Konrad, the assistant to Miss Agerter, takes care ol withdrawals, census, and study halls lor girls. She is also the adviser ol Tip Toppers, a post suiting her height. Her note- worthy ambition is to get all the girls to school on time just one day ot the year. llt's never happened yet.l
