significant years. The friendly secretary to Mr. Ma- thias, Miss Wanda Hoetle, aids the principal. works with rebate pupils and handles correspondence. Always seen hustling about the ottice is Miss Martha Allen, ottice secretary. l-ler duties range from issuing the daily bulletin to tiling school records. Right-hand assistant to Mr. Vigord is Mrs. Jack Hammann, who helps with the book room and clerical worlc. Mrs. Virginia Watson is constantly occupied with the telephone system and instructing student assistants. Mrs. Laverne Balmer, secretary to Mr. Wilbur, never finds a dull mom- ent in Junior I-ligh, where tiling cards and answering letters are a few of her duties.

When a beluddled Freshie girl drifts about blindly at Withrow, she can obtain friendly advice from Miss Lulu Murphy. Minstrel time finds her knee-deep in buttons and bows, as she selects costume designs and directs sewing. During his two years at Withrow as Vocational Counselor and adviser ol Freshman boys, Mr. Roy Ander- son has given lreely oi his time and energy. Any pupil may receive sound advice from him on questions concerning professions.
