The season ot '34 was a unique one in that Withrow's gridders allowed their goal to be crossed only three times during the whole hotly contested series. Every game in which our atheletes participated was won by Withrow. Mr. Wirth has produced a Well coordinated swimming team from the material at Withrow each year. Mr. Dunning was responsible for our powerful and carefully or- ganized basketball team, while Mr. Reuter has this year, as ever, produced a track team of which we Well may be proud. Our undefeated l934 football team was produced through the efforts of Mr. King. On the opposite page appears the team which so valiantly carried the black and orange to victory through the season and Won the 'final desperate game with Hughes. 120
