KLEINPELL THE PRESIDENT This issue of the Meleteon, the first under the new name the Wisconsin State College at River Falls, reviews the high lights of another significant year in the history of the College. The physical plant has been enlarged. Hathorn Hall, the first dormi- tory to be constructed on the campus, is completed. By mid-summer work on the new $750,000 library should be well underway. A physical education and health building, 0 student union and a new campus school are all a part of the plans for the immediate future. The current year has aiso witnessed an expansion of the academic program. New majors and minors have been organized. The Arts degree has broadened the ofterings ot the College. Older established programs have been strengthened. T As the following pages portray, the student body continues to uphold campus traditions and to maintain the academic stature that has characterized River Falls for many decades. Alumni and friends of the College can well be proud of their success. Thirteen
