Dedication Edward A. Mirus Jr. Leonard J. Peacock Wc also have special pride in dedicating this yearbook to Mr Mirus, who has shared many years with us students We remember his punishment in giving many pages of long math problems, and promises that if we didn't complete the work, he would happily use his canes on us. Wc remember how he poured out his emotions as our football coach when we needed a scolding or motivation Wc remember his teaching us how to use the computer and basic computer language Wc remember his sitting writing enthusiastic articles about WSD S sporting events for the Wisconsin Times. And also we remember his interest in our model railroading club, being one of the sponsors. Mr Mirus is a special person of many interests who has taught us a great deal We thunk him. Wc have shared the good times ana the bad times with this man. but most of all. a true friend He has taught us to be serious, to write letters to organizations when we don't like what they do. He has a good sense of humor: we remember how often he has joked with us. Me may be strict, but he also taught us pride in our small world of the dcuf and how we must get along in the big hearing world alter we graduate. He has supported our athcltic teams by attending many events, and remains a loyal supporter of our school, having given more than half of his life leaching the deaf at WSD. As wc make this dedication, wc give many thanks to our friend. Leonard Peacock 2
