dedication Norma Reece Grace Nicholas Wc. the Class of 1983, are honored to dedicate this yearbook to two very special people. The lady that we wish to honor first graduated from Taylor University in Upland. Indiana with a B.S. in Education. She also took courses at the University of Nebraska and the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Prior to coming to WSD, she worked for a year at Borg Fabrics in Delavan as an account clerk and was a substitute teacher in the Delavan Public Schools for three years. She has worked here at WSD for thirteen years as an English and math teacher. She is remembered as u skilled teacher and a person who understands the feelings of young people. Before she came to WSD, the second lady to whom we dedicate our yearbook was employed at Lake Lawn Lodge for thirteen years as a hostess in the dining room and for three years as a sales clerk Then she came here in 1970 and worked for thirteen years as a houseparent. Wc all know this lady as a person who was always there when wc needed her. As one of our night houseparents. we often called on her to help us when wc were sick, couldn't sleep, or just to be a friend in the night. These two very special people are Mrs Norma Reece and Mrs Grace Nicholas Wc would also like to recognize Mr Charles Duick. a teacher for many ycjirs at WSD. who retired last December. The Class of 1981 honored Mr. Duick by dedicating their yearbook to tftis long time friend Good bye with our love to all of these very special people' Cable of Contents Administration V 3 junior Jirom 6 Homecoming 7 Staff 9 sports 18 Cheerleaders 26 Actiuities 28 Autographs 33 Seniors 37 Class 33flill 69 Senior poster 64 Senior 3ndex 2 68 (Administration Wade Karli ha MaUra of the largaat traduatlag clan to star attaod th« Mi scoria In School for ths U«l. 70a uw had ths opportunity to saurt a gtuat deal of iaflweacu oa ths sntirs school, I as happy to aay that 700 haw usud this opportunity to ths fullsat and haw induwd haw bsvn a vary poaltiw tuf Inner on awry aspect of school pi 0 1 r ansi no i daraitury living, at hist lea. astra-rurricular activities sad acadsatr achivmnnts.
