a e ctic 'X i tw I he Class of 1982 is very reluctant to say farewell' to all ol you who have inspired us to do our best It is at this graduation that we now stop to thank everyone who hjs helped us before we step into the world and into the future The word future is broad. It could he people-oriented or it could material-oriented l or most people, it is u pcisonal struggle bclwc.ni changes for the better for ourselves and changes to help other people (low we deal with this struggle is vital since it will affect our luturc The future docs not have to appear black. Most people look forward to their future a few tear their future What about all of us? Actually we should not fear it. but look forward to it lor it could be satisfying and bright We can make it wail brightly for us if we cooperate and share in making the future better It i-» our future, one to be shared b all together We cannot let pollution destroy it. or crime rule it. or indifference to improvement control it. For a better future, we must improve things we already have and we must communicate our desire for improvement II everyone could nc somewhat people-oriented and not just concerned with sell-improvement. we could achieve world peace or some other goal such as stopping world pollution It is vital that all of us join in improving our future so it will continue to shine In school and at home, we have learned various positive ways to improve ourselves and others We realize our bright future is accomplished through our thinking positively and constructively Here at WSI). we have been encouraged to look for the best in ourselves and in others, So it is with reluctance that we now say -Farewell to you who have umpired us to readily face the future Sara Andreas 'X'i 'n Today we arc Tilled with mixed emotions. We arc excited to graduate and start another new step in our lives, bui we arc reluctant to leave our school and friends whom we love. Yel. we have to move on and accept new challenges in the future. We are ready because you have taught us to lace many kinds of challenges. For this, we arc gratelul to you all. 4 Charles Grau c
