- ' » DEDICA ♦ » ♦ ♦ MU ton Lee Janice Watts We, the Class of 1978, are proud to dedicate our yearbook to Milton Lee and Janice Watts. Janice Watts has a softheart toward us students. She is always willing to do favors whenever we ask her; however, she is indeed strict with us and is an excellent child care counselor. Milton Lee is always willing to give us advices whenever we are having problems during our long years here. It is a great pleasure for our class to dedicate our Senior number yearbook to Janice Watts and Milton Lee. We want to express our deepest gratitude for all the work and help you've given us these many, long years.

Dear Seniors of 1978, JOHN S. SHIPMAN Superintendent Graduation from high school is but a beginning in a lifelong journey filled with new learning. The staff of the school has prepared you so that you might go forth with a knowledge of how to learn independently of schools. How you apply that knowledge and how you accept new learning, will determine to a large extend how fulfilling your life might be. We at WSD have faith in you. We trust that you will show confidence in yourselves as you undertake new tasks. We wish you the best in life. Sincerely, John S. Shipman, Superintendent Wisconsin School for the Deaf Congratulations .... You have reached a new milestone. The many years of social development, study, hard work, and good play have lead to this great day - the accomplishment of high school graduation. Graduation is not “The End, it is the Commencement - the beginning of the rest of your life. Look forward and plan carefully for the future with confidence and wisdom. The goals you set for yourself and the success with which you achieve those goals will represent the next major milestone. It has been a real pleasure to know and work with you these past seven months. Despite the shortness of our relationship, 1 have been very impressed with the maturity and leadership present in your class and I know you will do well. I regret not having the opportunity to know and work with you for more than a year, but I wish you all my very best and much success in the attainment of your future goals. Sincerely, Ken Brasel KENNETH E. BRASEL Director of Education
