The United States h» become enriched hy men and women who have come from different countries bringing with them much of the culture of the Old World. Many of them have been .scientists, authors, ami artists and of other professions. The editors and renders of the Tattler should be grateful and pleased to note the great numbers of splendid men and women who, in deciding to make America—the land of the free, their home have greatly contributed to our welfare. Not only have the c people from other land been a factor In the progress of this great country, hut many more truly patriotic citizens, men and women alike, have given the best years of thrlr lives in service to their native land.
