WISCONSIN HIGH GETSANEW PRINCIPAL Next fall XVisconsin High will have a new administration. At its head will be Mr. Gordon Mackenzie. Nr. Mackenzie is a slight, scholarly appearing gentle- man. 'Unlike many principals, he is extremely approachable and friendly, and yet his eyes, behind their glasses, seem to be making a calculation of you-taking your measure, so to speak. He has had wide and very successful experiences as an administrator and educator. llc has held the position of principal in several mid- Western high schools, and in Glencoe, Illinois, he was superintendent of schools. He resigned this position to finish his graduate work in education at Leland-Sta.n- ford in California. The choice of Nr. lNlackenzie was one of deliberation. He was carefully picked from eighty-eight other possibilities from all over the country. He will come here rich enough in experience to handle the affairs of our school, and young enough in years to understand the problems facing the students. Xve hope that He will like us and enjoy Madison.
