Detectives SHIRLEY ROBERTS, ANN KNOTTS, and PAT SAMS are trailing KAREN HANNA and IDA SWEENEY, leaders of the Chicago Crime Syndicate. TERRY CALTRIDER is playing pro basketball. LEON PIDCOCK and CHARLES COPEN are working as testers of foam nibber mattresses. MARGARET GIFFIN REEVES' and WAYNE REEVES are now raising their own basketball team.
