tn. -4 N . ..r V l .-'23 . , I LY rf Kg,..,f' I Wan For some strange reason, my stomach felt a little queer as we drove to the back door of Bancroft. But my fears subsided somewhat as I saw the welcoming committee-tvvo maids to take all my luggage to the third floor. What I didn't know was that freight elevators aren't very reliable-as my possessions got stranded for nearly two hours! How's that for a welcome. As if to make matters worse, I discovered that I had no money, no identification, and no checks Qmy pocketbook was at homel. That really can do a lot for a freshman's ego- to think I had my head screwed on so tight that I couldn't have forgotten anything. Rooming with a best friend didn't exactly make things easy either. It's one thing to have a friend to visit, but to live with her? That can take a lot of adjustment-especially when your roommate's homesick and you're not! . , in-A,.,:.:,..i Tflgtlilji HU A 55 A ' 'A-s1iQ5g:'.1tLB2:7-1-L5,x'.P'
