I think you're off on a tangent. You're making a big thing out of this puppet show. If your sister is so down on this particular one, then why did . she bother to see it so much? The way she explained it is that everybody feels obligated to see this show. If you don't, you feel kind of left out. lt's sort of like you don't really want to see it, but you're afraid if you don't, you I just might miss something.

What'd va mean rms snow's no good My sister saw it four times and she says it's the i are different. So what . . . does that make your sister an authority on puppet shows? I paid good money to see this thing! same old thing year after year, only the faces l X No, but I figure she has enough experience to pass judgment. Why, she knows this show so well, she can even tell you who pulls what strings.

Big deal. Somebody has to do it. What good is a pile of wooden arms and legs without someone to give them life? Well, nothing l guess. But my sister says that in this show the main part is played by the puppeteer, not the puppets. Oh, I see now. In other words, here it's not the puppets that make the show, but the show that makes the puppets. But what's so bad about that? Who cares who does what, just so it's good and worth my money! That's the catch. Most of the time the only per- son who thinks the show is good is the puppeteer. Maybe it's okay for some, but as many strings as there are attached to those puppets, there ought to be more than one way to present the show. xi M' ul 3 it ,. 'Q ln n .V E:-4.
