Each student has a definite responsi- bility-that of upholding the standards of the college. The Well-rounded system of student government makes the campus a democratic one. The three main branches of student government are the executive, the judicial, and the legislative branches. The Standing Committee is composed of those Who head the various committees under the student government. In spite of this clear-cut organization, there are occasionally hitches. For instance, what penalty do you give a student Who plants firecrackers under the chairs of the teachers she doesn't like? After all there's no rule in the hankbook that says Thou shalt not plant Hrecrackers under the chairs of the teachers thou doth not like. But then, every form of government has its little disadvantages.
